Madrid, October 2019

The Green Building Council of the United States (US Green Building Council) has certified with the LEED certificate, the last two platforms developed by Pulsar Properties in Ontigola and Parets del Vallés, included in the portfolio of the Joint Venture Pulsar Iberia Logistics formed between KKR, Roundhill Capital and Pulsar Properties.

The 20,000 m2 platform in Ontigola (Toledo) located at the foot of the A-4 motorway, with a high level of finish and quality, also has a BMS system, in order to manage the main services of the building.

Among the peculiar characteristics of the 20,000m2 platform in Parets del Vallés (Barcelona), at the foot of the A-7 motorway, Pulsar Properties wanted to contribute to a sustainable economy, and has opted for the development of this platform, through the rehabilitation, regeneration and expansion of an existing industrial warehouse, adapting it to the needs that logistics spaces require today, thus enhancing the degraded areas and buildings, as elements of the past, for their updating and adaptation to the demands in terms of quality, regulatory safety and the environment.

The certificate assesses the environmental behavior that a building will have throughout its life cycle, making obtaining it a key element in Pulsar Properties' policy, focused on the development of continuous improvement processes and environmental sustainability.

Pulsar Properties, through the company Pulsar Krean, its Joint Venture with Krean-LKS, along with other collaborators, continue to work on projects already underway, including a 20,000m2 platform in Fontanar (R-2) and another two of 32,000m2 and 20,000m2 in Torija (A-2), all of them in the Henares Corridor, which will have an environmental certification.

In turn, they have other projects in different stages of maturation located in different areas of the peninsula, which mean opening up the range of products to offer to customers.
